Arkana Drive Median and Road Upgrade

Project Scope

Due to a failing wall in the median strip of Arkana Drive in Noosa Heads, SCS were engaged to remove the existing wall and construct a new grouted rock retaining wall, widen the road and landscape the median strip. Works included demolition, clearing, earthworks, retaining wall construction, road widening and landscaping. Working within a residential area in Noosa Heads, traffic control around the worksite was required during hours of operation. Due to the sandy ground conditions, temporary shoring was required during construction to ensure the top road was retained.
