Goodchap Street Road and Drainage Works

Project Scope

SCS were engaged by Noosa Council for the upgrade of stormwater infrastructure at Goodchap Street, Noosaville. Works included new DN600 stormwater pit and pipe network, removal of existing drainage and road widening. Requirements to ensure that two way traffic was maintained meant that significant traffic management and shoring of trenching was required to reduce the footprint of our works. These works were undertaken to alleviate the flooding of the road and local residents properties that occurs in large rain events.
