Petrie Creek Road Bank Stabilisation

Project Scope

SCS were engaged by Sunshine Coast Council to undertake the stabilisation works of Petrie Creek Road, Nambour. This section of road had been subject to significant eroding and was subject to further failure. SCS proceeded with removal of the existing vegetation, earthworks including cut/fill and trimming of batter, supply and install Terrafix blocks and rock pitching. We managed the traffic, pedestrians and cyclists during the works, reducing the road to one way under lights during working hours and reinstating the road to two lanes after hours and were limited to a very tight workspace during the works.
